The Old Town Needlework News
Summer is here, and it's perfect weather for stitching! The store is packed to the gills with new goodies. Boxes arrive every day. Vineyard Silk has 9 new colors. The Stitchopoly board games ordered last October have finally arrived. The pieces are adorable and it is lots of fun to play. Be sure to mark your calendars with all the fun summer activities planned. Mystery Ornaments start June 21st. We have launched our two clubs for 2008 but it is never too late to join the fun. I found the most amazing 3-D cookies that are precious. We're doing a baker's dozen so you'll buy 12 kits and get the 13th free. There is a decent photo of the goodies on the Clubs link. (Go to Catalog then click on Clubs) We also found an incredible Southwestern Nativity. The series includes a beautiful backdrop with a lean-to, cactus, and piles of hay. Baby Jesus is being watched by an angel flying through the sky. He is receiving guests and the club includes a surprise available only to OTN club members. Come join us and stitch the 1st Saturday of the month for Procrastinator's Club. The 3rd Saturday is for anyone working on their Margaret Bendig pieces. (That's why it's called Club Margaret.) If you have any questions, just call the shop.
November 14-16, 2008, a group of stitchers will be walking in the 3-Day, a 60 mile walk for breast cancer research. To raise funds, we have put together two really fabulous projects. Both will be available as kits. I want to give you a preview of our fun and invite you to join our efforts to support our dear friend, Smyrna Donna, in her fight against breast cancer. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to our 3-day fundraising effort. Hope canvas by Renaissance Designs

We are most appreciative of any help you might consider and no contribution is too small. If we work together, we can make a huge impact. There is lots to see and stitch, so come by for a visit! Happy Stitching! Alice PS Don't forget to check out some of my favorite links: Rainbow Gallery Fibers and More Don't forget that it is never too late to be a part of our clubs.
