Saguaro Forms and Cactus Flowers
Frank Lloyd Wright created this abstract design of the Saguaro, a great desert cactus, as one of twelve covers commissioned by Liberty magazine in 1927. Although it was never published by the magazine, this design later appeared as the cover design for Wright's Princeton lectures and as a glass mural in the main entrance of the Arizona Biltmore Resort.
